High Speed Mobile 3G / GPRS for Macintosh OS X

13th September, 2004

Europe : filetransfer.co.uk, the portal for file transfer products, is to distribute a mobile communications wizard to facilitate 3G connectivity for Mac OS X users via an agreement with Germany based nova media. “Mobile High Speed for Mac OS X” can be used to establish mobile UMTS/3G and GPRS Internet connections with a Macintosh running OS X, and works with any network including Vodafone and the Orange 3G PCMCIA data cards.

“Mobile High Speed for Mac OS X” automatically configures a Macintosh for UMTS/3G and GPRS connections, eliminating the need to search for modem scripts, APN, DNS or other system settings. The intelligent software is compatible with most mobile phones from Motorola, Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson as well as many PC card modems.

“There is currently limited mobile 3G data services for Apple Macintosh users across any network and GPRS is only available via bluetooth mobile phones,” comments Darren King of filetransfer.co.uk. “The solution from nova media is tried and tested, so we are delighted the become the UK distributor. We are hoping to announce some significant product bundles in the near future.”

Priced from £39.95 ex VAT - £69.95 ex VAT, further information is available from www.filetransfer.co.uk.
