Europe : Comptel announced that Finnish mobile operator DNA Finland is using the Comptel Provisioning and Activation Solution to support service providers and MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators). The Comptel solution allows DNA Finland to meet its service providers and MVNOs individual service activation needs, providing faster time-to-market as well as efficiencies.

DNA Finland is a 3G mobile operator, with over 1 million prepaid and postpaid customers. It also provides the network for approximately 10 service providers and MVNOs. DNA Finland needed a way to provision its customers fast and cost effectively, and also enable its partners to do the same with their customers.

Mrs Riitta Tiuraniemi, DNA's CEO explains: "DNA offers the most price-competitive products in Europe, according to a study by the Ministries of Transport and Communications of 17 EU countries. Comptel's flexible end-to-end solution enables design, tracing and migration of services used by the VNO's subscribers which is prerequisite for efficient product management We now have a very streamlined organization to support not only the DNA provisioning and activation but also the various MVNOs in our network."

The Comptel Provisioning and Activation Solution is a complete solution that is designed to cover all the processes from accepting an order to activating a billable service. At DNA, the solution includes authentication and authorization, enabling service providers and MVNOs to activate their own services directly.
