UK : In July this year, 3G Operator 3 UK announced that it had decided to offer its 3G mobile broadband launch screen ( the dashboard ) to advertisers. This month its been reported that Yell.com has signed up to become the first advertiser of the 3 UK 3G mobile broadband dashboard.

3G mobile broadband customers of 3 UK via their 3G datacard, dongle or laptop will shortly be presented with a Yell advert on their 3G mobile broadband dashboard. The above version will be seen everytime a 3G mobile broadband customer connects to the network via their 3G datacard, dongle or laptop.
3 UK are actively looking for further advertisers as the number of users who use the 3G mobile broadband dashboard on a monthly basis is over 3 million users. Of course this only applies to the UK as the 3G network coverage provided by 3 UK is for the UK only.
