Mobile Wi-Fi Launch for 3 UK

UK : The launch date for 3G Operator 3 UK’s Mobile Wi-Fi deal will be 17th September this year. The new service from 3 UK which is known as Mobile Wi-Fi ( MiFi ) includes a wireless modem which connects to 3’s 3G network.
Once you have a 3 UK SIM card, the modem and a 3G mobile signal from 3 UK you can then setup a Wi-Fi connection / hotspot. The wireless modem emits a Wi-Fi signal and you can connect various Wi-Fi devices to the modem wirelessly. No software is required and your Wi-Fi enabled devices will be found and you will be connected.
A number of devices can be connected such as a pc and netbook which allows mobile internet surfing, email and music downloading etc.

Two Mobile Wi-Fi options will be available at launch on 17th September :
Broadband 5GB 1 month’ is a one month contract which includes 5GB of data for just £15 a month. With this deal the wireless modem costs just £69.99.
For an upfront charge of £99.99, Mobile Wi-Fi will also be available as a ‘Ready to Go’ kit. The deal includes a wireless modem and 3GB worth of data which can be used over a 3 month period. After the data has been used up, the modem can be used on a Pay As You Go basis.
