Europe : Toshiba have announced the launch of the TG01 Windows phone, which is a TG01 that runs on Windows Mobile 6.5.
The TG01 Windows phone now benefits from the Windows Mobile 6.5 home screen, with it’s excellent new mobile start menu.
Additionally, TG01 Windows owners will be able to access Windows Marketplace to obtain all the latest compatible applications and games. Windows MyPhone service enables TG01 users to backup all their data easily and also share photos, music or anything with wish with friends and family.
The TG01 has a massive 4.1” Widescreen, running at 800 * 400 ensuring the best possible media and browsing experience. The screen also enables superb gaming, which is driven by the brilliant Snapdragon 1GHZ processor which the TG01 boasts.
The TG01 Windows mobile is still only 9.9mm thick, which is amazing considering the increase in functionality Windows Mobile will bring. The TG01 also comes with integrated GPS, which on such a large touch-screen removes the need for a separate sat-nav device. The TG01 windows mobile ships with an 8GB SDcard, which is expandable up to 32GB which can store all your multimedia files you’ll want to play on your TG01.
The HTC TG01 Windows Phone will be available across Europe from 6th October and all existing TG01 owners can get a free upgrade to the new TG01 Windows mobile.
