The iPhone 12 Mini is a tiny flagship that’s got endless power, great cameras and 5G, all in a very compact size.
The iPhone 12 Mini is the handset for anyone who’s sick of big smartphones. This is the sort of size that companies rarely make anymore, as it’s truly compact, meaning most people will comfortably be able to use it with one hand, and it should fit in almost any bag or pocket.
In fact, the iPhone 12 Mini is even smaller than the iPhone SE (2020), and that’s despite having a larger 5.4-inch screen. How is that possible? Simply because the iPhone 12 Mini has a high-end design with tiny bezels, so the only space taken up is by the display.
And it’s a good screen too. The iPhone 12 Mini has a 1080 x 2340 OLED display with 476 pixels per inch. That makes it actually slightly crisper than any other model in the iPhone 12 range – though the differences are negligible. It also supports HDR10 and has a very high maximum brightness.
The iPhone 12 Mini is enormously powerful too, as it uses Apple’s A14 Bionic chipset. That’s the same as you’ll find in the iPhone 12 Pro Max, so no 2020 phones have faster processing speeds. And the iPhone 12 Mini also has incredibly fast data speeds, as it’s one of the first iPhones to support 5G.
The cameras impress too. There’s both a 12MP f/1.6 main one and a 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide, along with a 12MP one on the front. They perform brilliantly and that’s the same selection as the standard iPhone 12, which is basically what this phone is, just in a smaller size.
