The iPhone 12 Pro is Apple’s latest flagship and it’s tremendously powerful, as well as having the speed of 5G and one of the best cameras you’ll find on a phone.
The iPhone 12 Pro is arguably the best iPhone you can buy – sure, it’s smaller than the iPhone 12 Pro Max, but that phone’s bigger screen won’t suit everyone. At 6.1 inches the iPhone 12 Pro is much more manageable, and it’s a truly top-end handset.
That starts with the performance – it’s not just one of Apple’s first 5G phones, delivering all the speed and future-proofing that entails, it’s also packed with power thanks to an A14 Bionic chipset, which is the most powerful one you’ll find in a 2020 handset.
The screen also stuns, it’s OLED like all the best smartphone screens, but it can also get incredibly bright, so you’ll have no trouble seeing it on sunny days. With a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio it also delivers deep blacks and crisp whites, so images look superb.
The iPhone 12 Pro also has a triple-lens camera, with top-tier main, ultra-wide and telephoto lenses, along with a fourth sensor in the form of a LiDAR scanner, which can create depth maps for incredible augmented reality experiences.
And the iPhone 12 Pro looks great too – it has the iconic look of previous iPhones, but with flat edges made of surgical-grade stainless steel.
And while it might look fragile it’s actually one of the toughest mainstream phones on the planet, thanks to Ceramic Shield protection on the front, which is tougher than other smartphone glass, and water resistance to depths of 6 metres, which is far deeper than most other phones can go.
The iPhone 12 Pro also has up to 512GB of storage, Face ID for security, the ability to record in Dolby Vision (which is a smartphone first), and support for MagSafe accessories, which can use magnets to stick to the back of the phone. In short, the iPhone 12 Pro is almost overflowing with tech and features.
