Overview

The Huawei Y6p packs in an awful lot given its low price, including a 5,000mAh battery, which is bigger than the batteries in many phones that cost five times as much.

That allows you to use it for potentially multiple days between charges, and it’s so big it even supports reverse charging – so you can use the Huawei Y6p’s battery to charge up other phones.

The Huawei Y6p also has a triple-lens camera on the back, with a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. That means as well as standard shots it can also capture the full sweep of a landscape or a big group, and with an 8MP camera on the front – complete with automatic portrait retouching – you can look your best in selfies too.

The screen is also a good size at 6.3 inches, and with just a small notch at the top Huawei has got the screen-to-body ratio up to 88.4%, which means there’s hardly any bezel. That in turn makes the Huawei Y6p look great and take up less space.

There’s also a hearty 64GB of storage built in, along with a microSD card slot supporting up to 512GB more, so there’s plenty of space for apps and other content.

Other highlights of the Huawei Y6p include an octa-core chipset, 3GB of RAM, and a fingerprint scanner, so there’s a lot to like here.
