Overview

The OnePlus 7T Pro is the best phone OnePlus has ever made, as it takes everything from the OnePlus 7 Pro and builds on it in a few key ways.

The main improvements include the chipset, which is now a Snapdragon 885 Plus (up from a Snapdragon 855), ensuring this is truly one of the most powerful phones on the planet. The phone has also had a battery boost, with a hefty 4,085mAh unit inside, and it ships with Android 10, while the OnePlus 7 Pro comes with Android 9 out of the box.

In most other ways the two phones are exactly the same, but that’s no bad thing, as the OnePlus 7 Pro is already one of the best phones you can buy.

Specs for the OnePlus 7T Pro include a 6.67-inch curved 1440 x 3120 AMOLED screen, with HDR10+ support and a 90Hz refresh rate. That combines to make for one of the best displays you’ll find on a phone, matching most flagships for resolution, but packing in a higher refresh rate, for a smooth feel.

The OnePlus 7T Pro’s screen also have virtually no bezel, with the fingerprint scanner built into the display and the 16MP selfie camera hidden in a pop-up mechanism. This makes it a great looking phone.

The handset also has 8GB of RAM – or a massive 12GB if you opt for the special McLaren Edition. And there’s 256GB of storage, which should be more than enough for almost anyone.

It also has a triple-lens rear camera, with a 48MP main lens, a 16MP ultra-wide one and an 8MP telephoto one (with an impressive 3x optical zoom), so it does a good job of photography. And this being a OnePlus handset it’s also cheaper than most comparable phones.
