Overview

The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is a super-affordable smartphone with the sort of specs list you’d normally have to pay a lot more for. For a start, it’s one of the cheapest ways you can get 5G, so if you want superfast data without emptying your wallet or purse, then this is a great choice.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G also has a huge 5,000mAh battery, which is bigger than the batteries in many phones that cost four times as much. That means you can spend more time using your phone and less time charging it.

You also get a big 6.6-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, which means scrolling feels smooth. And with a sharp 1080 x 2400 resolution, content looks great too.

On the camera front there’s a triple-lens snapper on the rear, with a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide one, and a 2MP depth sensor, so it’s got a versatile photographic setup.

And thanks to a capable MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset, this phone is a great budget pick for gaming, especially as there’s microSD card support, giving you up to 1TB of storage space for all your games and apps.
