Overview

The Samsung Galaxy S10 could be the flagship to beat in 2019, as it’s a seriously impressive phone, headlined by a 6.1-inch curved 1440 x 3040 Dynamic AMOLED screen that’s sharp, supports HDR10+, and has almost no bezel, with the front-facing camera instead in a cut-out in the screen.

There’s also an in-screen fingerprint scanner, while around the back there are three cameras – a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto one, a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle one, and a 12MP one that can switch between apertures of f/1.5 and f/2.4. So it has got a versatile, powerful photography setup.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is also enormously powerful, as it uses Samsung’s brand-new octa-core Exynos 9820 chipset clocked at up to 2.7GHz and coupled with a massive 8GB of RAM.

The phone also comes with up to 512GB of storage (plus a microSD card slot) and has a sleek, curvy metal and glass design (protected by tough Gorilla Glass 6).

A 3,400mAh battery keeps the Galaxy S10 going and it supports fast charging both with wires and wirelessly. The phone can even be used as a wireless charging mat for other devices.

There are also stereo speakers too for great sound, plus facial recognition and IP68 certification – meaning the S10 is water and dust-resistant. In all this should be one of the most powerful, polished phones on the planet, and a serious upgrade on the already-impressive Samsung Galaxy S9.
