The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is Samsung’s top flagship, packing in a bigger screen and better specs than even the rest of the Galaxy S21 range.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is the ultimate flagship and by far the most accomplished of the Samsung Galaxy S21 range.
One of its many highlights is the camera, which is a quad-lens one with a 108MP f/1.8 main lens, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide one, a 10MP f/2.4 telephoto one, and a second 10MP telephoto lens, this time with an f/4.9 aperture. It can also use those lenses for a remarkable 10x optical zoom, which is far more than most phones – as is its 100x digital zoom.
As well as having one of the most high-end camera setups you’ll find on a phone, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also has one of the very best screens, with a 6.8-inch curved Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, which massively outdoes the resolution of its siblings at 1440 x 3200.
It also offers a 120Hz refresh rate – and unlike previous Samsung phones, you don’t have to choose between that resolution and that refresh rate, you can use them both at the same time.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra supports Samsung’s S Pen stylus too, making it the first and only Galaxy S phone to do so. That means you can make the most of its big screen to sketch or take notes by hand.
There’s a ton of power too of course, with a top-end Exynos 2100 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM – which as with so many things here has most phones beat.
Plus, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also has a high-end design, with a glass back, a metal frame, a metal camera housing, an all-screen front, and water resistance. There’s also an enormous 5,000mAh battery, wireless charging, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, 5G, masses of storage, and more. All things considered, this is a phone that lives up to the ‘Ultra’ in its name.
