The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus is a bigger and better alternative to the excellent S22. With a bigger screen, faster charging and endless flagship features.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus is the phone to pick if you want a top Samsung flagship but don’t need the excess of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
This phone is a bigger, better version of the standard Samsung Galaxy S22, with an expansive 6.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen that’s bright and vivid. Powering that screen is a hefty 4,500mAh battery with seriously speedy 45W charging – fast enough to charge it in as little as 20 minutes.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus also has oodles of power thanks to a cutting-edge Exynos 2200 chipset, which has every 2021 Android phone beat, and will keep it ahead of much of 2022’s competition.
There’s 8GB of RAM too along with up to 256GB of storage, so plenty of both kinds of memory, and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus also has excellent cameras, headlined by a 50MP main sensor capable of taking super-crisp photos.
That’s joined by a 12MP ultra-wide one and a 10MP telephoto (offering 3x optical zoom), so whatever type of photographer you are, this phone has you covered – even in tricky conditions such as low light.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus is designed to stand out too, with its camera block curving smoothly out from the aluminium frame and contrasting the glass back. It’s a stylish, premium look, and this phone is built to last, thanks to Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and back, and tough Armor Aluminium for the frame.
With Android 12 too, plus the promise of four years of Android updates and five years of security patches, the Galaxy S22 Plus is a phone that you can happily hold on to for half a decade.
