Overview

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G manages to be both compact and big all in one – it’s a foldable phone that when shut is much smaller than a typical smartphone, while still giving you access to a 1.1-inch cover screen. But flip it open and you reveal a 6.7-inch inner screen.

That screen has a crisp resolution of 1080 x 2636, supports HDR10+, and uses AMOLED, ensuring that colours and contrast look great.

So you get the convenience of a compact phone, the benefits of a big phone, and the impressive tech of a folding screen, but that’s not all, as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G also supports 5G – as the name suggests – and has top tier power, thanks to a Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset (which is the best you’ll find in any 2020 Android phone).

There’s also 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, plus three cameras, with one on the front and two on the back. And the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G looks stylish too, with a glass back, minimal bezels, and an overall futuristic design.

Plus, while no folding phones are cheap, this is one of the more affordable foldable options, giving you a cheaper way to get a taste of the future.
