The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has been delayed by a couple of months. When will it launch and what else do know about the smartphone ?
We had heard that Samsung would be unveiling the Galaxy S4 Mini this month, but we're yet to hear a peep from the Korean company about the smartphone's availability. New rumours suggest that the launch of the compact mobile has been pushed back by two months.
We've been led to believe that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini release date has been pushed back until the middle of July. No reason for the delay was given, but it's possible Samsung don't want to detract from the appeal of the Galaxy S4 by launching a more affordable alternative.
The Galaxy S4 is officially on sale in the UK this Friday and looks set to become the best selling Android device of all time. Samsung's flagship smartphone has a cutting-edge specification including a quad-core processor and stunning full HD display, but what do we know about the Galaxy S4 Mini ?
Previous leaks have told us that Galaxy S4 Mini's specification will include a 4.3 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 960* 540 pixels, highlighting the more mid-range nature of Samsung's smartphone.
Our information also suggests that it'll be available in both single-SIM and dual-SIM (DUOS) versions. The Galaxy S4 Mini DUOS will have a lower specification making it more affordable than the single-SIM model.
The Galaxy S4 Mini will have a quad-core processor and a stunning 8 mega-pixel snapper, while the Mini DUOS is expected to be powered by a dual-core processor. Both will come pre-loaded with Android Jelly Bean and will benefit from Samsung's TouchWiz user-interface.
Samsung's Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to land in the UK on July 14th and will be available in either White Frost or Black Mist . We expect the Galaxy S4 Mini price to be around £250 with the DUOS likely to cost around £200.
