HTC Desire 8 will come in White and Dark Blue
HTC have already taken to Weibo to confirm they'll be unveiling the HTC Desire 8 on February 24th at MWC 2014. Now they've posted a couple of images of their new mid-range Android smartphone on the Chinese social network.
The HTC Desire 8 is the first of a new breed of more affordable HTC smartphones, as the Taiwenese company look to increase their sales and turnaround their recent decline.
The smartphone is rumoured to have a 5.5-inch display (1280*720 pixels) and to be powered by a quad-core 1.6GHz Cortex A7 processor backed up by 1.5GB of RAM. It'll also apparently have a rear-facing 13-mega-pixel camera and a 5 mega-pixel front-facing snapper.
As you can see from the new pictures it'll be available in White and a stylish Dark Blue colour. Both of which will come pre-loaded with Android KitKat and feature dual-stereo BoomSound speakers with Beats Audio technology.
The success of the HTC Desire 8 will depend on its price and we don't currently have any idea how much it'll cost. However, we should learn more at next weeks Mobile World Congress.
