We had expected the HTC M4 to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in February. However, that never came to fruition , but the smartphone is still thought to be in production. What do we know about the HTC M4 so far ?
Firstly, the HTC M4 is thought to be a more compact and affordable version of the HTC One (pictured above). The HTC One is a brilliant smartphone with a 4.8 inch touch-screen that's received glowing reviews across the mobile industry.
HTC's M4 is likely to launch under a different name with the current title thought to be an internal code-name for the mobile. Whatever it's ends up being called, HTC will be hoping it's as well received as the HTC One.
The HTC M4 is rumoured to have a 4.3 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 1280 * 720 pixels. While, new rumours suggest that it'll feature an aluminium case which should ensure it maintains a premium feel.
HTC's smartphone looks set to be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and a whopping 2GB of RAM. That's more than enough power to run Android Jelly Bean smoothly, while it is also rumoured to come with a 13 mega-pixel snapper and to support 4G, 3G, WiFi and NFC.
An inside source at one of HTC's major suppliers has hinted that the HTC M4 will land across Europe in June. Apparently, an initial batch of 700,000 units will be ready for the smartphones launch and we expect it to cost around £330 in the UK.
As soon as 3G hear more about the HTC M4 we'll let you know !
