Motorola released an upgrade to Android Honeycomb (3.2) for the Motorola XOOM last month, but strangely only just for the WiFi version of the Xoom.
The good news for owners of the Motorola XOOM 3G edition is that they can now update to Android Honeycomb because Motorola has released the update.
We can only assume that Motorola must have had some slight problems with the 3G version, which is the reason for the delayed release.
Noticeable improvements brought by Android 3.2 include improved docking support, the addition of MOTOprint, user-interface improvements and better compatibility.
XOOM owners should get an update notification very soon and as always 3G recommends you use a WiFi network to download the update, due to its large file-size.
