The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 was announced yesterday and Samsung have now released a video previewing their new tablet , which can be viewed above.
The original Samsung Galaxy Note was a hybrid device sitting somewhere between a tablet and a smartphone and Samsung were obviously keen to expand the brand. Just like the original Galaxy note, the Galaxy Note 10.1 incorporates Samsung's unique S-Pen interface.
The S-Pen interface takes utilises a stylus , which is contained within the Note 10.1, and improves the usability of the tablet. A number of applications have been optimised for use with the S-Pen interface including Adobe Photoshop, S-Note and many more.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a huge 10.1 inch touch-screen running at 1280*800 pixels. Power is a real strength of the tablet because it has both a 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM.
Other features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 include a rear-facing 3 mega-pixel camera and a front-facing 2 mega-pixel camera for video calling. The tablet comes pre-loaded with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and will be updated to Android Jelly Bean shortly after launch.
A number of different versions of the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available with a choice of either 16, 32 or 64GB of on-board memory . Additionally, you'll be able to choose between a WiFi-only version or one that supports both 3G and WiFi.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available to buy worldwide this month and as soon as we get news of the price and exact launch date you'll be the first to know.
