The success of the Samsung Galaxy range has contributed significantly to Samsung becoming the best biggest mobile manufacturer in the world. The Samsung Galaxy S2 has now sold over 40 million units worldwide, while the Galaxy S3 (pictured above) has hit 40 million sales in just 7 months.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise to hear they are already working on the Samsung Galaxy S4. We've now got a rumoured specification for the Galaxy S4 thanks to leaked Android Antutu benchmarks.
We've reported on a number of rumours regarding Samsung's Galaxy S4 in the past , but we've got a feeling that this is the most reliable one yet. What does this new leak tell us about the specification of Samsung's smartphone ?
The benchmarks show two different models of the Samsung Galaxy S4 with one designed for the Korean market and one for the International market. We presume there won't be any differences between the two models other than support for different wireless protocols.
Both models will be powered by Samsung's recently unveiled Exynos 5 Octa processor. The processor has 8 cores and vastly improves performance, while at the same time reducing power consumption by taking advantage of 4 lower-power cores and 4 high-performance cores.
The leaked benchmarks also revealed that Samsung's Galaxy S4 will have a 4.99 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. Additionally, it's expected to have 2GB of RAM and both a 13 mega-pixel rear-facing camera and a front-facing 2 mega-pixel snapper.
That's all the information that was revealed in this latest leak. This information backs up most of the rumours we've heard about the Galaxy S4 in the past , so we're pretty confident they'll prove correct when the smartphone gets unveiled later this year.
