The Sony Xperia T launched back in September and came pre-loaded with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which was slightly disappointing news at the time. However , earlier this month we reported that Sony had begun rolling out Jelly Bean for the smartphone.
Three have now announced that Xperia T owners on their network can download and install the update. The update is being rolled-out over-the-air and users should receive automatic notification when it becomes available.
Android Jelly Bean brings a number of improvements to Sony's smartphone including Google Now, support for actions in the Notification Bar and much more. You can more about the operating system by clicking here.
Sony Xperia T owners will be grateful to get their hands on the update because it'll lesson the blow of their smartphone being eclipsed by Sony's Xperia Z. They can always get reassurance from the fact that the Xperia T was James Bonds choice of smartphone in the latest film Skyfall.
Those who havn't brought a Sony Xperia T yet might want to checkout Three's deals. The bond-phone is available with unlimited data on contracts starting at just £28 a month. You can checkout all of Three's Xperia T deals by clicking here.
