Overview

The Apple iPad mini (2021) is perfect for those who want high-end specs without a massive screen. At 8.3 inches it’s still much bigger than a phone, and perfect for enjoying media and using apps on the go, but it’s small and light enough that it’s ideal for carrying around and taking on journeys. It’s also incredibly slim at 6.3mm, so it won’t take up much space in a bag.

With a 1488 x 2266 resolution and True Tone (which cleverly adjusts the brightness and colour tone based on your surroundings), the iPad mini (2021) has a high-quality screen as well, and it also has stereo speakers, so movies and games will both look and sound great.

This compact champion also supports 5G, so you can get the highest possible download speeds, and its chipset won’t slow you down, as with an A15 Bionic it’s got as much power as an iPhone 13.

Plus, there’s ten hours of battery life, so this will dependably see you through the longest of journeys, and it supports the Apple Pencil 2, so you can use the iPad mini (2021) for sketching a note taking as well.

There are also impressive cameras on both the front and back – complete with a Centre Stage feature which keeps you in frame on video calls, even when you’re moving around.

Plus, the iPad mini (2021) has a Touch ID fingerprint scanner for convenient security, a USB-C port for charging and for connecting accessories, and a stylish, premium design, with aluminium on the sides and back. All that and this runs iPadOS 15, offering one of the best tablet software experiences you’ll find.
