The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is due to launch on the 31st March.
The new mobile is the first to be certified with the Playstation name and comes with a sliding game-pad that has a d-pad, 4 face buttons, 2 shoulder buttons and two analogue touch-pads.
The Xperia Play has a 4 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 480*854 pixels , a 5.1 mega-pixel camera and is powered by a 1 GHz mobile processor in combination with an Adreno GPU graphics processor.
Mobile news site mcvuk not only confirmed the release date but also that the mobile will come pre-loaded with a number of blockbuster games. The confirmed games include Tetris, Star Battalion, Crash Bandicoot, FIFA 10, Bruce Lee Dragon Warriors and the SIMS 3.
Sony Ericsson also stated that the Xperia Play will be subject to the biggest ever marketing they have had in the UK.
