PT Excelcomindo Leverages M-series to Reliably Support MPLS-based VPNs and Enable Future 3G Services

US : Juniper Networks announced that PT Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk (XL), one of Indonesia's leading communications providers, has deployed the M-series routers to improve the performance of its MPLS-based VPN services and create a solid network foundation for the delivery of advanced services such as 3G Wireless. XL chose the M-series for its industry-leading performance and reliability, and its unique ability to support multiple levels of quality of service, which will enable XL to guarantee superior service level agreements for critical voice, video and VPN traffic.

Juniper Networks M-series multiservice routers have been deployed in the largest IP networks for the past eight years, establishing a track record of stability, reliability and scalability. The M-series supports the industry's most comprehensive VPN portfolio, combined with the ability to simultaneously support existing and emerging Layer 2 and Layer 3 services. Constructed with a separation between the control plane, forwarding plane and services plane, the M-series multiservice routing systems support multiple services without compromise on a single platform -- enhancing revenue opportunities and minimizing operational and capital costs.
