Earlier today we reported on Sony's schedule for rolling out Android Ice Cream Sandwich to its Xperia smartphones. That schedule showed that Sony plan to roll-out the Android 4.0 update for the Xperia S before the end of June.
Now a new video, which can be viewed above, has been leaked online that shows the Xperia S running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The video, spotted by Xperia Blog, has already been taken down from two other sources so we suggest you watch it before this one gets removed as well.
The video doesn't hold any surprises but its good to see the operating system is already running on the smartphone and everything seems to be running quickly and smoothly.
When the Xperia S update gets released it'll bring a number of improvements including support for Visual Voicemail, Face Unlocking and a whole new user-interface which you can check-out in the video above.
Sony have taken an interesting approach to the update to Android 4.0 with a number of its older smartphones getting updated to the latest version of Android before its next-gen smartphones , such as the Xperia S.
As soon as 3G hear anything more about Android Ice Cream Sandwich hitting the Xperia S we'll let you know.
