3G Wireless Network Order for Motorola

ASIA Vietnam : Motorola announced a new 3G network win in Vietnam. The 3G network order came from Vinaphone which is a subsidiary of Viet Nam Posts and Telecommunications (VNPT). The contract applies to providing 3G network coverage in the North Vietnam which is to include Hanoi.

The 3G deployment will bring high speed mobile data services to Vinaphone’s subscribers, and allow the operator to strengthen its position in the Viet Nam market,” Dr. Owen added.
Motorola’s Home & Networks Mobility business unit won the 3G network order and this unit provides a comprehensive end-to-end solution, consisting of market-leading products, tools, and support, that addresses the full value chain of mobile and entertainment service providers.
