Microsoft and Vodafone to launch the Samsung C6625

29th June , 2009

UK : Samsung Electronics unveiled a partnership with Microsoft and Vodafone to launch the Samsung C6625. The partnership creates a new stylish way for today’s business users to get more done on the move, making them more productive and giving them greater flexibility in the ways they communicate.

Boasting the Windows Mobile 6.1 platform, a QWERTY keypad, Push email and amazing cost effectiveness, the Samsung C6625 keeps even the busiest of workers connected to their networks. Samsung has worked with Microsoft and Vodafone to create the ideal package to mobilise workforces for less. Microsoft’s Windows Mobile platform means that the Samsung C6625 delivers email, calendar and address book access to employees directly.

Businesses can use their existing Microsoft Exchange or Small Business Servers, and there’s no need to invest in additional push email technology – alternatively the device is compatible with other ISP platforms if the company isn’t using Microsoft Exchange or Small Business Server.

Bundled with the great value business price plans from Vodafone, the complete package is a great value way for all businesses to save money on their mobiles. Vodafone also offers businesses low cost support solutions including Device Management, Security and Premium Support.

A full QWERTY ergonomic keypad and access to Outlook® Mobile from the Samsung C6625 gives users access to their email wherever they are, just as they do with Outlook on their PC. Windows Mobile 6.1 goes further in delivering a full PC experience on the move, with access to familiar Microsoft programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer.

Marcus Stone, Samsung Mobile Head of Smartphones said: “The Samsung C6625 combines style and efficiency for business users keen to stay ahead and get more done on the move. In the current economic climate retaining that edge has never been more important, and with the C6625 users have everything they need at their fingertips. Our work with Vodafone and Microsoft makes this an extremely competitive offering thanks to a feature-packed Windows Mobile phone that is suited to even the most image conscious of business users.”
