New Videoconferencing Solution for 3G Mobile Phones

18th June , 2009

France : TETCO VOXPILOT is unveiling the new Tetco-Voxpilot videoconferencing solution. Tetco Videoconferencing lets you hold an audio and videoconference by connecting in real time from anywhere in the world without any installation on the workstation. This ultracompetitive solution is for wide use from the PC, 3G mobile phone, or videophone, in all foreign markets.

Users can either view the same screen or customize their screens by selecting which participants they want to display on their computer, videophone, or 3G mobile phone screens. The video is high-definition, TV-type, H.264, even in low-bandwidth situations. Maximum bandwidth used is 364 Kbits/sec. Tetco-Voxpilot Videoconferencing can simultaneously manage different codecs for each participant.

Ease of use is one of the key factors in adopting the solution:

- Easily schedule meetings via a dedicated web interface

- Confirm by e-mail or SMS

- Check availability

- Open the conference in one click

- Report at the end of the session.

The solution is compatible with any system and requires no advance installation on the workstation. To join the conference, participants need only to click on a hypertext link or to dial a number.

The Tetco-Voxpilot videoconferencing solution meets current business needs: it significantly reduces costs and travel expenses, and increases efficiency and productivity with mobile teams and multi-site corporations.

"We have a solution that combines the quality of 'room-based' solutions with the flexibility of use without any program on the client station," says Tristan Dessain-Gelinet, CEO of TETCO-VOXPILOT. "For businesses, videoconferencing has become an essential solution, especially in the current economic climate where cutting costs and, at the same time, increasing efficiency is absolutely critical."

TETCO-VOXPILOT will demonstrate its new videoconferencing solution at the following trade shows: SpeechTeck (New York), August 24-26; IP Convergence (Paris), October 6-8; Cebit Bilisim Eurasia (Istanbul), October 7-11; Futurecom 2009 (Sao Paulo and Rio), October 13-16; and Gitex, October 18-22 (Dubai).
