The solution integrates XACCT's real-time measurement, transaction processing and differential charging capabilities with Megisto's subscriber- and service-aware core, Mobile Subscriber Service(TM) architecture. By combining highly complementary technologies from XACCT and Megisto, the integrated solution gives mobile operators a competitive edge to deliver, charge and manage transport of highly personalized data services. Mobile operators will now be able to fully realize the revenue potential of both enterprise services, such as secure intranet access, as well as personalized services including m-commerce, gaming, content filtering, even when delivered by partners.
