Picture displays Faster Access to Key Data one of the features of critical performance management. WatchMark Prospect 7 introduces innovative new "intelligent" features that allow network service providers to capture and analyze vital service metrics, optimize their infrastructure investments, automate time-consuming tasks, proactively monitor and predict important trends and respond to key performance information, evaluate the timeliness of marketing programs that may impact the network, and overall deliver a more positive, high-quality experience to voice and data subscribers. "The capital investment necessary for new network build-outs, combined with spectrum license costs, has put enormous financial burdens on wireless operators," said Patrick Kelly, senior analyst, OSS, for RHK, a leading market research and consulting firm. "WatchMark Prospect can help service providers efficiently manage the RF network, while lowering customer churn," said Kelly. WatchMark Prospect 7 answers the growing business need for network service providers to drive new revenue streams at the same time they must control costs. One key way they can reduce expenditures is by consolidating disparate, legacy performance management systems in order to reduce operational costs and attain greater insight, analysis and intelligence into how their network is performing. Prospect™ 7, with its enterprise-wide reporting capabilities, allows operators who may have merged or consolidated or who may be migrating to new 2.5 or 3G networks to centralize performance management data into a single information source. As a result, key performance indicators, key quality indicators and performance data is viewed in aggregate, allowing operators a holistic view that allows them to better adhere to their service level agreements profitably, maximize the efficiency of deployed infrastructure, define and make decisions about network expenditures and more. New Improvements to Proven Prospect Platform WatchMark Prospect 7 is the first intelligent performance management solution to provide robust, enterprise-wide reporting capabilities, dynamically updated web interfaces and threshold and trending alarm features that give users the power to make more informed business decisions. Enterprise-wide reporting: Prospect 7 consolidates large amounts of raw and summary data from multiple, distributed network elements, reducing effort and labor costs through streamlined reporting on the performance of the entire network. By generating centralized reports on enterprise-wide key performance indicators, WatchMark Prospect 7 allows users to make more accurate, timely decisions on issues that affect service quality. It also provides business unit managers with data that helps them anticipate success or failure of value added service offerings and troubleshoot discrete performance aberrations by hardware type, region or other criteria that impacts their top- and bottom-line results. Customizable web interface: For the first time, Prospect 7 delivers a dynamically updated and customizable, dashboard view of network performance metrics. Users at all levels of the organization can easily interact with a "myProspect®" Web interface that provide customized data on network performance to gain strategic information on network metrics specific to their business unit or region. This allows greater "snapshot" visibility into key network performance data, on PDAs, smartphones or other wireless devices in addition to traditional desktops in network operations centers. Proactive alarming capabilities: Prospect Alarm® monitors metrics such as blocked calls, dropped calls and traffic volume that help provide proactive notification about performance thresholds and trending, letting users act on impending performance issues before they impact the customer. Other features in Prospect 7 include Prospect Vision® for interactive analysis of network performance data using 2D- and 3D-linked views and utilization of advanced Oracle database features to allow virtually unlimited storage of performance metrics. "We believe we have taken a significant step ahead of our competitors with the release of Prospect 7 and challenge wireless service providers to investigate the unique intelligent features in WatchMark Prospect 7 that positively impact both top- and bottom-line performance," said WatchMark Corp. President & CEO Todd Eliason. "Other performance management solutions simply are not built to scale, report key data from various network elements and hardware types, or put the operator in a position to differentiate their offerings on service quality like ours. We believe Prospect 7 best positions network operators to deliver increasingly sophisticated service offerings, with the level of quality that customers expect, while containing their operational costs." |
