Sasken
Communication and Datang Mobile Communications announced that they have
entered into a TD-SCDMA software module co-development agreement. Under
theagreement, Sasken and Datang will jointly collaborate on TD-SCDMA
protocol stack
development for the realization of third generation networks and handsets,
which are expected to be rolled out in China by mid 2003.

above shows that Sasken is a focused player in the telecom domain and
has delivered over 500 person years of projects across wireless technologies
like TDMA, GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, CDMA2000.
Sasken has already provided
a number of wireless network and terminal
equipment manufacturers with W-CDMA and cdma2000 solutions and will
now work
with Datang to cover its third-generation TD-SCDMA network equipment
and
terminals.
