the terms of the agreement, Enfora and Growell Telecom will create a
joint marketing alliance to promote new GSM/GPRS and 1XRTT technology
solutions created from shared access to GSM/GPRS and 1XRTT technology,
and establish licensing agreements for innovative packaging solutions
to incorporate into each companies existing product line. The joint marketing alliance provides both partners the ability to enter into new markets and offer customers multiple technology solutions. This new strategy provides Enfora access to key handheld device manufacturers for GSM/GPRS integration opportunities within the Asia Pacific region; while Growell Telecom gains access to a variety of partners and channels in the North American, South American and European markets for potential distribution agreements. The technology sharing alliance grants Enfora the ability to integrate its next generation triple-band GSM/GPRS module into Growell's stylish CompactFlash design. Additionally, Enfora will expand its innovative Wireless Portfolio product offering by integrating Growell's 1XRTT technology into the design. "With
the continued expansion of GPRS and 1XRTT networks worldwide, this agreement
provides Enfora the ability to rapidly develop and supply innovative
and unique wireless data devices in the coming months," said Jeff
Newman, Vice President of Business Development for Enfora. "Enfora
is extremely excited to work with Growell Telecom, whose clear leadership
in the development of 1XRTT data devices and innovative packaging solutions
compliment Enfora's existing product line of wireless data devices implementing
GSM/GPRS and CDPD technology solutions." |
