Fresh from recent deals with major European 3G players including Hutchison 3G, HP, Ericsson and BEA, elata will now offer the elata senses subscriber services management system to mobile operators throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Gavin Freed, CEO at elata said: "As the battle to increase ARPU intensifies, mobile operators are seeking a flexible, future-proof service delivery system that will generate both immediate and long-term revenues from the personalisation, management and delivery of mobile data services."

elata senses offers this advanced functionality, enabling operators to not only manage their subscriber base, but also create and deliver targeted applications and services such as wireless Java, multimedia messages (MMS) and Smartphone services direct to a subscriber's device. It also offers operators a simple, cost-effective migration path to third generation technologies.

Freed said of the expansion: "Many operators in the region now understand there is only one chance to make their data services proposition work. For this reason they are keen to work with a proven performer such as elata. The elata senses solution will ensure the region's wireless operators have the most sophisticated technology on the market to help build revenues and provide a straightforward and highly personalised subscriber experience."

elata is currently working with one of its key partners, HP, to offer a hosted solution to operators in the Asia-Pacific region. The elata senses software will be integrated into HP's 'Go Mobile' offering and enable operators to deliver their data services to their subscriber base.

elata is committed to forming long-term collaborative relationships with its customers in the Asia-Pacific region and to ensure this, has established a team of technical experts and consultants in the Singapore office.

elata's entrance to the Asia-Pacific market and its opening of the Singapore office is being officially announced at the 3GSM Asia-Pacific Congress-Expo where elata is exhibiting at stand A5.

Charles McLeod, Business Development Manager - Asia Pacific will be presenting 'Building and delivering MMS propositions for maximum impact' at 3GSM Asia Congress
