Samsung Application Store Launches in Europe

Europe : Samsung will launch its Application Store for Smartphones across Europe from September 14th, following a successful beta test.
The Samsung Application store will initially be available in the UK, France and Italy with 30 more countries to follow. On launch the application store will be available on the Samsung Omnia and Samsung Omnia HD, with other Omnia models to follow later.
The Samsung Application store will feature a vast array of applications including games, social networking, e-books and health-tools, all of which can be easily downloaded to your mobile phone.
The application store will automatically filter applications to include only those compatable with your specific handset.
On launch there will be over 300 native applications approved by Samsung, which is expected to spread to over 2,000 by the end of this year.
