Europe : Sandvine Incorporated announced that Manx Telecom Ltd has selected Sandvine technology to improve bandwidth utilization on its broadband network.

As the popularity of bandwidth-intensive Internet applications continues to rise, Internet service providers increasingly face rising network costs and degradations to their subscribers' experiences. The difficulty service providers face is in managing this traffic in a subscriber-friendly way; many solutions negatively impact subscribers' freedom of choice and overall broadband experience.

To address these challenges, Manx Telecom has elected to deploy Sandvine's award-wining technology as both a subscriber-friendly way of controlling network costs, and as a means of maintaining its unmatched level of service.
