Sony's first tablet is launching tomorrow in the UK and they've announced a huge incentive to go and buy one.
The first 100 customers buying a Sony Tablet S at PC World on Tottenham Court Rd will get a free 32 inch Sony Bravia TV. Amazingly, the TV is worth £400 which is the same price as 16GB WiFi only version of Sony's tablet.
Doors will open at 7am and we guess you'll have to camp overnight in order to get one of the 100 free TV's, so you best start getting ready to go down there.
Sony also offer a 32GB WiFi and 3G model which is priced at £499 and we think that Sony have a better chance than most at competing with Apple for a number of reasons. The Sony brand is well established and trusted, they have experience in the phone and PC market and have huge financial power behind them for marketing.
The Sony Tablet S has a 9.4 inch touch-screen, dual-core Nvidia processor, 1GB of RAM and front-facing and rear-facing cameras. It's also the first Playstation certified tablet , supports DLNA and runs on Android Honeycomb.
