HTC has announced three new smartphones, which follows the announcement of two new Facebook smartphones earlier today.
The HTC Desire S and HTC Wildfire S are updated versions of two of HTC's best selling mobiles, while the HTC Incredible S is an update of a smartphone that launched in the US.
The HTC Desire S , successor to the Desire, is made from a single block of aluminium giving it incredible strength and beauty. It features a large 3.7 inch touch-screen and is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.
Other features of the HTC Desire S include a 5 mega-pixel with LED flash, front-facing VGA camera for video calling and 4GB of on-board memory. The HTC Desire S will ship with Android 2.4, which hasn't been released yet.
The HTC Wildfire S builds on the original Wildfire which proved a hugely successful affordable smartphone. The Wildfire S is one of the smallest ever HTC smartphones which is just 10.13 cm long and 5.94 cm wide.
The specification includes a 3.2 inch touch-screen which runs at a higher resolution (320*480) than the original. It's powered by a 600MHz processor, comes with a 2GB microSD card and has social networking features pre-loaded. The HTC Wildfire S will launch running on Android 2.4.
The final mobile is the HTC Incredible S which is a power-packed premium mobile which features a contoured body that captures the internal components of the device.
The Incredible S has a 4 inch high-definition touch-screen (480*800) and stereo surround speakers making it perfect for multi-media playback. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor, has 768MB of RAM and 1 GB of on-board storage.
The HTC Incredible S also has two cameras which includes a 8 mega-pixel camera with LED flash that can record HD video and a front-facing 1.3 mega-pixel camera for video calling. Weirdly , the mobile will launch running Android 2.2 , which is quite dated.
All three of the new mobiles will launch in the 2nd Quarter of 2011
