The Nokia Pureview 808 has been added to online retailer The Clove where it's listed as launching on May 14th. As well as the launch date the price has also been added and comes in at £504 for a SIM-free model.
Nokia unveiled the Pureview 808 back at the Mobile World Congress in February where it arguably stole the show due to its amazing 41 mega-pixel camera.
The amazing camera comes with a Xenon flash and can shoot stunning full 38 mega-pixel snaps or can take precision 5 mega-pixel shots by combining 7 pixels into one. You can also shoot full 1080p videos giving you that true HD experience. The video above was filmed on a Nokia Pureview 808 and gives you an idea of just how good the camera is
Fortunately, the Symbian powered Pureview 808 isn't a one trick pony because it also comes with a stunning 4 inch AMOLED touch-screen. Powering the smartphone is a 1.3 GHz processor which is backed up by 512MB of memory, while you'll be glad to hear you get 16GB of on-board memory to store your photos !
The only doubt 3G has about the Nokia Pureview 808 is whether consumers will be happy to use a Symbian powered smartphone and if they think such a stunning camera is worth £500 for !
