Pink is a surprisingly popular colour for phones, so it’s no surprise that HTC has decided to sell its latest flagship, the One M8, in pink.
The new shade is available exclusively to Carphone Warehouse and as pinks go it looks fairly understated, though still very much a feminine shade.
It’s available to pre-order now and if you think you might want it then it’s worth pre-ordering, because if you do you’ll get a free Dot View Case with it.
HTC’s Dot View Case is worth highlighting in itself, because as well as protecting your phone it has an innovative design, with holes, or dots, covering the front, allowing you to see key information on your screen, such as the time, weather and even incoming calls without opening the case, and because it’s viewed through an array of dots it looks stylish and unique, just like the phone itself.
The free case is available on pay monthly and pay monthly upgrade pre-orders and there are various deals available on different networks and with differing allowances. The cheapest way to get it with the Dot View case is on a £26.50 per month Vodafone contract, which includes 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of 4G data, though you have to pay £49.99 upfront for the handset.
Prices go right up to £48 per month for an O2 contract with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 8GB of 4G data, or you can get 10GB with EE for £47.99. Alternatively you can buy it SIM free for £529.95, but if you do that you won’t get the free Dot View case.
Either way, if you order now it should be delivered by the 7th of August.
