Samsung havn't launched a Windows Phone since the Samsung Ativ S, which was unveiled back in August 2012 and was one of the first smartphones to run on Windows Phone 8.
Now it looks as though a new Samsung Windows Phone could be on the cards. A new Samsung smartphone has been given Bluetooth certification for North America that looks set to come pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.
The smartphone, with model number SM-W750V, is listed as a 5-inch mobile with a full HD display (1920*1080p) and support for 4G LTE. Importantly its browser is listed as Internet Explorer, which reveals that it'll run on Microsoft's Windows Phone platform.
That's all we know for now, but the most likely place for the smartphone to be unveiled is at next months Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. If it does make an appearance at the event we hope to hear that it'll be coming to the UK, which isn't far from guaranteed.
This isn't the first time we've heard about the possibility of a new Samsung Windows Phone. Earlier this month we brought you news that Samsung, Sony and Huawei were all working on new Windows Phone 8 smartphone with Microsoft set to provide funds to co-brand the devices.
No news on Huawei or Sony's Windows Phones, but it looks as though the launch of a new Samsung Windows Phone is imminent.
