Sony Ericsson Playstation Phone Coming To T-Mobile and Orange

Mobile Magazine are reporting that the Sony Ericsson Playstation Phone, or Xperia Play, will be coming to T-Mobile and Orange.

The mobile hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but this apparently hasn't stopped Everything Everywhere from agreeing to stock the mobile. Everything Everywhere is the company that was formed when Orange and T-Mobile joined forces, so we'd expect the mobile to feature on both networks.

The Playstation mobile is expected to be unveiled at MWC in February and various leaks have hinted at its specification.

A sliding control-pad is a widely anticipated and will feature a directional pad and the 4 classic Playstation buttons, as well start and select buttons. It's also been suggested that there may be the option to add analogue sticks to the pad where you see the circular outline on the middle of the controller.

The new Xperia Play mobile is likely to be powered by Android 2.3 and will have 1 GHz processor, 512MB of RAM , 4 inch touch-screen and an 8 mega-pixel camera.

Once we know more about the Playstation mobile we'll bring it to you.
