The iPhone 13 is one of the fastest phones on the planet, as well as being one of the best for photography and, well, most other things too.
The iPhone 13 is Apple’s main numbered iPhone for 2021, and it’s also one of the most powerful phones you can buy. In fact, Apple claims its A15 Bionic chipset is not only a big upgrade on the A14 Bionic in the iPhone 12, but also far more powerful than any Android chipset, with a CPU that’s up to 50% faster and graphics that are up to 30% faster.
The iPhone 13 also has significantly better battery life than its predecessor, lasting for up to 19 hours of video watching – which is up to 2.5 hours more than the iPhone 12.
The camera has been improved too. You get a 12MP main and 12MP ultra-wide here, but with much better low light performance than before, along with sensor-shift optical image stabilisation to ensure your shots are always steady and in focus.
Those who prefer video to photos aren’t left out either, as a new Cinematic mode makes shifting focus between subjects seamless, for remarkable results.
Beyond that you get 5G, water resistance, a 6.1-inch 1170 x 2532 OLED screen that’s brighter and better than before, and Apple’s latest software in the form of iOS 15. All that, and Apple has also doubled the starting storage to 128GB, while lowering the price compared to the iPhone 12’s launch price.
