a monthThe Honor 400 Lite is built for anyone who wants an iPhone on a lower budget – or anyone who wants Android software with some Apple-like features.
You see, this affordable phone has multiple elements that you’ll find on the likes of the iPhone 16 Pro, including an ‘AI Camera Button’, which is much like Apple’s Camera Control button.
This hardware button works as a shortcut to the camera, and as a dedicated shutter key once the camera is open. You can also open Google Lens with it using a long press – much like Apple’s Camera Control can be used to activate its similar Visual Intelligence tool.
It’s a handy feature, and another handy feature comes in the form of a ‘Magic Capsule’, which is a similar idea to the iPhone’s Dynamic Island. With this, you can view tiny widgets related to apps you’re using, and if you tap on it the widget will expand, giving you more information.
Honor also promises six years of operating system updates with the 400 Lite, so this phone won’t lack for software improvements over the years, and it has some other highlights too – including a high-spec 108MP main camera, a big 5,230mAh battery, and a large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a crisp resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a high peak brightness of 3,500 nits.
There’s a decent 256GB of storage too, and the Honor 400 Lite even has a moderate amount of water resistance, as it has achieved an IP65 rating.
Plus, it’s lightweight, slim, and a whole lot more affordable than an iPhone – or even than most other Android phones.
