Overview

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a premium phone at a mid-range price, complete with specs that in some areas beat even top-end options like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

For example, here you’re getting an enormously high capacity 6,000mAh battery, which is a full 1,000mAh more than you get in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It also charges far faster, with support for speedy 90W charging.

Other highlights include the Motorola Edge 60 Pro’s extremely bright 6.7-inch 1220 x 2712 screen, which can reach up to 4,500 nits. Again, that’s brighter than most phones can manage, and ensures it’s still easily readable in direct sunlight.

That screen also has a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and it’s crisp at 444 pixels per inch, so it’s an all-round great display – and it’s curved, which is a rarity these days but looks beautiful.

The rest of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro’s design is also attractive, with this phone having a textured back that differs depending on which eye-catching colour you choose, and a surprisingly light 186g build.

It’s also more durable than most phones, being not just dust-tight but having both IP68 and IP69 ratings. The former means it can survive being submerged up to 1.5 metres deep in water for up to 30 minutes, and that’s a common spec on high-end phones, but the latter means it can also withstand high-pressure water jets, and that’s rare. It has also got MIL-STD-810H accreditation, which means it’s more resistant to shocks and extreme temperatures than most phones.

Those are the main highlights, but the rest of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro’s specs list impresses too, with this having a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 10MP telephoto with 3x zoom, and a 50MP front-facing camera.

It also has a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme chipset paired with a hefty 12GB of RAM, and there’s plenty of storage. Like most modern phones there’s also a healthy helping of AI tools built in, and all at a very reasonable price.
