Overview

The Samsung Galaxy A13 is one of the cheapest Samsung smartphones you can buy, making this a real budget handset. But it still manages to pack in some very decent specs, including the screen and camera.

The screen is a 6.6-inch 1080 x 2408 one, so it’s large and crisp, with around 400 pixels per inch. With vivid colours too and slim bezels, this is a screen you’ll want to spend time looking at.

As for the cameras, the star here is the 50MP f/1.8 main sensor, which can take genuinely great photos, packed full of detail and with natural, accurate colours. There’s also a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide snapper for if you want to fit more into your photos – this has a wide 123-degree field of view. Those two are then backed up by 2MP macro and depth cameras, so there’s a lot of photography options.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 also has a big 5,000mAh battery, so it can keep going all day and beyond, even when you use the phone heavily.

Other highlights of the phone include its microSD card slot, letting you boost the storage by up to 1TB, which is more than almost anyone should need, and its software, as this phone runs Android 12, so its interface is slick and modern. Plus, for fans of wired audio there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, which isn’t a common sight on phones anymore.
