The Samsung Galaxy A56 gives you what Samsung calls ‘Awesome Intelligence’, which is its collective name for many of the company’s AI features, including Circle to Search, letting you search the net for anything in a picture or video, and Object Eraser, which lets you remove unwanted objects from photos.

You can also use AI to create custom effects for your photos, get recommendations for the best editing effect for any given image, get the best combination of facial expressions in group shots, and automatically extract key sections from videos, among other tools.

So, there’s a lot of photography stuff here, which – coupled with the Samsung Galaxy A56’s triple-lens camera – makes this a great choice for anyone who takes a lot of photos with their phone.

That camera includes a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide (with a 123-degree field of view), a 5MP macro snapper for close-up shots, and a 12MP front-facing camera. So, there are a lot of lens choices here.

Beyond all the AI and cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A56 also has a big 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

It also has a speedy Exynos 1580 chipset and 8GB of RAM for smooth performance, as well as 5G for fast mobile data.

There’s a sizeable 5,000mAh battery too with fast 45W charging, and the Samsung Galaxy A56 also has an IP67 rating, meaning it’s dust proof and water resistant to depths of up to one metre for up to 30 minutes.

Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects both the front and back from scratches and falls, and the Samsung Galaxy A56 also has a slim, stylish design, coming in at just 7.4mm thick.
