The Samsung Galaxy S23 is Samsung’s main flagship phone for 2023, and it packs some big upgrades over the Galaxy S22.

Most notably there’s a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset, which is far more powerful than the chipset in the previous model. Not only that, but it’s a special overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 made exclusively for Samsung, which means this phone is likely to be more powerful than any rival handset from other Android brands.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 also has a small but mighty 6.1-inch screen, making this a conveniently compact phone, but that display is bright, high-resolution, and offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Other highlights of the Samsung Galaxy S23 include a sleek new design made from tough materials like new Gorilla Glass Victus 2 – meaning that this can survive everyday drops and scrapes. It’s also water resistant, so it’s surprisingly durable all round.

A capable triple-lens camera headlined by a 50MP main sensor will serve your photography needs admirably, and with four years of operating system updates promised along with five years of security updates, the Galaxy S23 will stay up to date for a long, long time.
