The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is Samsung’s top clamshell foldable phone. So it’s a lot smaller than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, but it still has a 6.7-inch foldable screen, which makes it around as big as the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Yet, because the screen folds in half it can also be made impressively compact, and at 1080 x 2640, with a 120Hz refresh rate and 426 pixels per inch, the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s main screen is high spec too. Of course, like most foldable phones this also has a secondary screen, specifically a 1.9-inch one that’s ideal for framing selfies and viewing notifications.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is extremely powerful too, with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which is more powerful than the chipset in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and a match for the one in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.

There’s also 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, so there’s plenty of memory and loads of space, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a pair of capable 12MP cameras on the back, comprised of a primary lens and an ultra-wide one, plus a 10MP camera on the front.

Thanks to the secondary screen you can easily use the main cameras for selfies, which isn’t something you can do with most phones, and because you can fold the Z Flip 4 up at all sorts of angles you can get some creative perspectives for your shots.

On top of all that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a colourful, premium design, and thanks to water resistance coupled with the use of toughened aluminium and Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, it’s a lot tougher than it looks.
