The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the top foldable smartphone for 2022, and in many ways it’s Samsung’s top phone full stop – beating even the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra when it comes to power and screen size.
It has a 7.6-inch 1812 x 2176 AMOLED foldable screen, with 374 pixels per inch, a 120Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10+. So that’s almost a tablet sized screen and it has flagship specs.

There are no compromises when it comes to storage either, with between 256GB and 1TB available, depending on the model you choose, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 also has five cameras. On the back there’s a high spec 50MP main one, joined by a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto (with 3x optical zoom). Then for selfies there’s a 10MP camera on the cover display, and a hidden 4MP under-display camera built into the foldable screen.
With the phone also running the tablet-optimised Android 12L it’s ideal for multitasking, especially as it supports Samsung’s S Pen stylus too. And this foldable is built to last, with toughened aluminium on the frame, toughened glass protecting the cover screen and back, and an IPX8 rating, meaning it’s water resistant.
All that and it’s surprisingly light at 263g, and just 6.3mm thick when unfolded, so the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 won’t be inconvenient to use as your main phone.
