Three has launched a trio of services that help you save money – and the environment

Three has recently rolled out three new services, each of which can save you money, and two of which can also aid the environment.

First up there’s Connect Together, an initiative that allows Three customers to get a 20% discount on additional plans. So whether you want a second phone, another device to go along with your handset, or to bring family members on to your Three account, this is a great way to save some money, and it rewards Three customers for their loyalty to the brand.

Discounts are available for new SIM cards, phones, tablets, and even for home broadband and mobile broadband, and you can add up to six additional lines to your account in this way. Plus, all of these plans can be managed in one place, simplifying account management.

Get a pre-owned device, or trade in yours

Next, there’s Like New, a service that allows you to purchase a ‘Like New’ device rather than an actually new one.

If you choose a Like New device, you’ll receive a refurbished product at a lower price than if you bought a new one, but you can get it with a 36-month Extended Warranty for extra peace of mind, and in buying a pre-owned product you’ll be helping the environment, as these have less of a carbon footprint than new gadgets.

Finally, there’s Trade-In, a service that lets you trade in your old phone, tablet, or smartwatch, for either money off a new device, or money sent straight to your bank account. As well as being a way to partially fund a new purchase, this also reduces electronic waste, since it ensures your old device will get reused or recycled.

Or, if you don’t need the money, you can donate your old device using Three’s Reconnected service, which will see it given to a disadvantaged person, alongside six months of unlimited data, calls, and texts.

So there are a lot of new options here, and the Connect Together service is sure to be particularly appreciated, since family plans are offered by many other networks, so it’s nice to see Three competing in this area now.
